Fees

My full rate is $180 for a 45 to 50-minute session.

Payment is made in full at the time of service.

If my fee is out of your range, I would be happy to provide a sliding scale.

My hope is to be able to provide pro-bono or low fees to members of our marginalized communities.

Insurance

I am not taking insurance.

I am happy to provide you with a superbill for reimbursement. Please call your insurance to verify your out-of-network benefits. Some helpful questions to ask include:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • What is my annual deductible amount?

  • How many sessions will be covered annually?

  • How much can I spend per session?

Cancelation Policy

I understand that unexpected events will happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule our appointment, I kindly ask for a 24-hour advance notice to avoid paying a late fee of $50.

In the event of a no-show, you will be charged a fee of $100.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

As of January 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
